Tree Root Removal
An Unseen Predator As is so often the case, the main cause of sewer backups is the invasive nature of tree roots. Tree roots will not only encroach on and penetrate seemingly impervious soil, but sewer pipes as well. Typically, tree roots form an intrusive root ball that will block the flow of waste water and cause the sewer to back up. Should you detect a foul odour emanating from your drains, the likelihood is that tree roots have infiltrated your sewer pipe system.
Captured on Video Through the application of CCTV, CWW can with minimal disturbance and trusted accuracy, inspect your sewer pipes to determine whether roots have compromised your sewer system. The equipment we bring to bear to identify and solve a compromised sewer system is second to none. Our high pressure truck can attain pressures of 15,000 PSI on low flow. Applying a water jet that attains a sustained pressure of this magnitude will literally cut through tree roots like a knife through butter. And as one of CWW’s proprietary quality assurance measures we will supply our customers with a video of root-free sewer pipe upon the conclusion of the assignment.
A Proactive Program In light of the common and invasive nature of root infiltration, CWW has instituted an effective maintenance program where we will arrange to contact our customers on a regular basis every 6 months, or every year as may be required to schedule an appointment to inspect a particular sewer system for root infiltration and cleaning.
Our customers have yet another option at their disposal. CWW would be pleased to provide customers with a quote for the rehabilitation of a sewer system or drain through CIPP (Cured-in-Place Pipe) lining.*
