No-Dig Drain Rehabilitation through CIPP
(Cured-in-Place Pipe) Lining

Strategically Sound To restore the structural and hydraulic capacities of a sewer pipe, CWW can rehabilitate drains and (or) sewers without the traditional and invasive process of digging. Drain lining is generally referred to as the rehabilitation of a section of sewer pipe that is located under the floor or in a ceiling. Lateral lining refers to the main drain (lateral sewer) from the building at the foundation wall to the city’s main sewer connection.

Jets, Blades, and Flushers Up first – inspecting and cleaning the drain pipe in preparation for CIPP lining. High pressure jets, rotating blades, and (or) a flusher can be used to eject debris from the drain. Once the pipe is clean, the pipe diameter and length is examined and confirmed. Designed to seamlessly mould to the configuration of the drain pipe, the liner is then installed through air inversion and the application of hot water cure.

Making the Cut For installation of drain lining, the steps are essentially the same as those used for lateral lining with two exceptions: the pipes are smaller in diameter and are typically more difficult to access. If there is no other access point available it is often necessary to cut through the concrete of a basement floor in order to install the liner.
