CWW Health and Safety Policy

Commitment, Respect, and Vigilance

The management of CWW acknowledges and supports the right of every employee to work in a safe and healthy environment. We are committed to providing our employees with the safest possible working conditions at all times.

In order to ensure that we consistently achieve this objective, we will implement, monitor, and evaluate our health and safety program on an ongoing basis to ensure its effectiveness. We will respect and follow the guidelines of the Occupational Health and Safety Act; ensure that we adhere to the regulations stipulated under the Act; and strengthen our commitment to health and safety in the workplace by implementing the additional directives outlined within our own company’s Health and Safety Manual.

CWW will take every possible measure within its power to ensure a safe working environment. We will encourage the cooperation of all to implement our policy. We will require all of our employees to participate in ongoing training; encourage and maintain transparent communication between management personnel and staff through our active Joint Health and Safety Committee; and we will work together to identify and eliminate any potential hazards that could lead to accidents and (or) injuries.

We will responsibly hold supervisors to task for the health and safety of all employees under their direction and supervision. CWW Supervisors will be responsible for ensuring that machinery and equipment is safe, and that employees operate in compliance with established safe work practices and procedures. Every CWW employee must comply with regulations and directives of The Occupational Health and Safety Act, and to work together to ensure a safe and healthy workplace.

A worthy and formidable company is one that confidently moves forward because of its commitment to excellent service, satisfied and loyal customers, growth and profitability, and steadfast vigilance towards the health and safety of its employees, customers, and those private citizens it encounters at the work site. As President of our company I respectfully give you my word that each and every pillar that supports our company will forever remain equal to the other.

Signed in Ottawa, this 1st day of January, 2010.

John D. Brule
President and C.E.O.
